Unit 2 Talk
Now that society pretty mush revolves around social media: Facebook and Twitter, we update our status with thoughts and picture, our privacy is almost invisible. We post things and people will see it and have an opinion on it. If you don't want people to see anything you post, then don't post it. I think that privacy is something we do sacrifice. When we create an account on any social media site or when we are walking down the street and talking on the phone, our privacy shield disappears. We don't have a lot of privacy because people will see everything we post. People do take privacy for granted, we know that because if they worried about what they post, then they wouldn't be posting things that shouldn't be posted. If we did have privacy: only friend people who want to see your posts and block out people who will worry or disagree about posts, then most people wouldn't sensor what they share. The cartoon that introduces chapter 2 represents how Hansel and Gretel left a digital trail so others can follow and see their whereabouts.
